Remote RF Explorer -- Cloud Data Sharing (Free: $0)
Remote RFExplorer is a simple application with a unique and powerful feature -- remote monitoring of spectrum traces. The "server-side" software acquires data from an attached RF Explorer device and uploads RF spectrum traces to cloud-based storage. The "client-side" software downloads those spectrum traces to a PC located anywhere in the world. Remote monitoring of an RF environment lends itself to a variety of new and exciting applications -- the possibilites are endless. RF Explorer is an amazing instrument that has made RF spectrum analysis accessible to thousands of users. The addition of remote monitoring adds another dimension to the usefulness of this wonderful tool. The Remote RFExplorer software is free and runs on both Windows and MacOS machines.
Servier-Side
With an RF Explorer device attached to the Remote RFExplorer ("server-side") application, simply enter the 'Start' / 'Stop' frequencies and press the 'Start' button and spectrum traces will continuously be uploaded to cloud storage.
Client-Side
The Remote Client ("client-side") application can be running on a Windows or MacOS machine located anywhere in the world. Pressing the 'Refresh' button downloads and displays the latest spectrum trace that was collected and uploaded by the "server-side" application.
Easy To Install And Simple To Use
And that's it -- press the 'Start' button on the "server-side" application and the 'Refresh' button on the "client-side" application. It's hard to get more simple than that...
When the Remote RFExplorer ("server-side") and Remote Client ("client-side") applications are launched a license key and serial number (of the RF Explorer device) are entered. These form a License.SerialNumber pair that is used to create a unique identifier for the data that is uploaded to cloud storage.
Free License Key & Download
The Remote RFExplorer software is free -- however, it does require that you acquire a license key by going through the normal checkout process. No credit card information is collected -- only an email address to send the license key to. There is no limit to the number of installations -- however, each RF Explorer device (i.e. serial number) requires its own license key.
For Windows, the Remote RFExplorer (server-side) and Remote Client (client-side) applications are separate downloads. For MacOS, both Remote RFExplorer and Remote Client are included on a disk image.

Remote RFExplorer runs natively under Windows and MacOS architectures -- both Intel x64 and Apple Silicon (M1/M2). When you register a license key it becomes associated with the serial number (S/N) of a specific RF Explorer device and NOT a machine. You are permitted to install the Windows and MacOS versions of the software on as many machines as you like. However, during the registration process the license key entered becomes associated with a particular RF Explorer device and its serial number. If you have only one RF Explorer device then you are good to go. But if you have more than one RF Explorer device then each will require its own license key.
